We will create a Manzanita Burl Vegan Smudge Kit just for you – made to order!
The kit includes a natural old manzanita burl which is the stand for the Vegan kit. The burl will be similar to the one in the photos and measure approximately 6 inches long, 4 inches wide and 1/2 inch in height.
The burls are from Eastwood’s Manzanitas which are well known for their unique grain and vibrant spectrum of color. These burls are the product of severe weather as well as brush clearing near our mountain Sanctuary. We retrieve the fallen manzanita trees and burls.
These are VEGAN in that no animal product of any sort is involved with our kits. The manzanita is finished with a light layer of all natural Tung Oil.
Each manzanita stand is unique and has a life of its own. The stand can be used for smudges and also as a stand to hold a small sculpture or perhaps a crystal rock garden.
Manzanita burl is the perfect wood for a smudge stand due to its fire resistant properties. Manzanita Burl has been used to make pipes.
(Abalone is an animal and it is endangered! Therefore we do not believe in using abalone shells for smudging. Furthermore – same thing with eagle feathers!)
We include with the burl stand, one of our special Cedar, Rosemary, Lavender and Bay Laurel Incense Smudges, 4-5 inches tall, a selenite wand (3-5 inches) and quartz crystal point.
All the herbs in the incense smudge stick have amazing properties. All are organic and non-gmo.Lavender connects with Spiritual Awareness, for meditation, to help with fears, and for Acceptance. It helps facilitate altered states of consciousness. And, Lavender is a symbol of Truth, Equality, and Joy.
Rosemary is the herb of Remembrance, Protection and Love. It provides good luck, protection, and purification. One name for rosemary is “Elfinplant”- it is magical!Cedar has been prized for millennia in a variety of cultures across our Mother Earth.Ancient Egyptians prized cedar for its scent and offered the incense to the Gods and Goddesses. Cedar has been used in many indigenous people’s ceremonies The smoke of burning cedar is said to attract good spirits and eliminate negative energies.Bay leaf burning has been used a way to relieve stress for centuries. The combination of chemicals (specifically the chemical linalool) in the leaves creates a smoke that, when inhaled, calms the body and mind. Burning bay leaves puts you in a calm and almost “psychedelic state,” but it doesn’t make you tired; the smoke can calm your body while simultaneously perking you up.
It also smells divine!
Within the blessed smudge sticks is a super charged Quartz Crystal – imagine how powerful this is!
Selenite calms and soothes, bringing a deep sense of tranquility. Meditating with Selenite aids in access to past and future lives. Selenite brings mental clarity, clearing confusion and revealing the bigger picture behind any problem.
Clear quartz helps to elevate your consciousness and bring clarity into your life. It is clear light, cleansing and purifying energy fields.
All of our Smudges are handmade by Ankh-sen-Aset, an Iseum priestess, artisan and Reiki mistress. The lavender and other herbs are grown on our Sanctuary.
The burls are harvested, trimmed, cleaned and polished – lovingly – by our devotees and Iseum artisans.
The CRYSTAL INCENSE SMUDGE is an original concept by San Aset, and she has been creating these for friends and family for almost 20 years. These smudges create an energy unlike any other smudge and have been used at births, weddings, holidays and in memorial services.
Each smudge is different and the pictures here represent how they look. We don’t have pre-made smudges, these are made to order. And each manzanita burl stand is UNIQUE, one of a kind. All of our Iseum Sanctuary ceremonial items are made with great care, positive intention, and blessed with loving nature.
These are actual pictures of the Bast House Temple and smudges in the process of being created. Each smudge and all the crystals have been blessed in the Bast House by Ankh-sen-Aset (see picture). Bast (also known as Bastet) is the ancient Egyptian Goddess of protection and cats. Re, our Mau Cat, is meditating in the Bast House, with happy cat thoughts.
