Here is a newly created VEGAN Manzanita Burl Altar Kit which features a unique manzanita burl stand. I call this one the “Lotus”, and it comes with a Selinite wand, a quartz crystal and a blessed Lavender/Rosemary Crystal smudge stick.
The stand measures approximately 4 inches by 5 inches.
The burl comes from Eastwood’s Manzanita trees which are well known for their unique grain and vibrant spectrum of color. These burls are the product of severe weather as well as brush clearing near our mountain Sanctuary. We retrieve the manzanita that has fallen and has been laying out in nature. Manzanita burl is the perfect wood for a smudge stand due to its fire resistant properties. In fact pipe makers have used Manzanita Burl to make pipes.
The manzanita burl is finished with many layers of all natural Tung Oil and citrus based finish.
Each manzanita stand is unique and has a life of its own. The stand can be used for smudges and also as a stand to hold a small sculpture or perhaps a crystal rock garden.
(Abalone is an animal and it is endangered! Therefore we do not believe in using abalone shells for smudging. Furthermore – the same thing goes for eagle feathers!)
Within the blessed smudge stick is a supercharged Quartz Crystal – imagine how powerful this is!
All of our Smudges are hand picked and handmade by Ankh-sen-Aset, Iseum priestess, artisan and Reiki mistress. The lavender and other herbs are grown on our Sanctuary.
The burls are harvested, trimmed, cleaned and polished – lovingly – by our devotees and Iseum artisans.
The CRYSTAL SMUDGE is an original concept by San Aset, and she has been creating these for friends and family for almost 20 years. These smudges create an energy unlike any other smudge and have been used at births, weddings, holidays and in memorial services.
Each smudge is different and the pictures here represent how they look. These are handcrafted to order for you!And each manzanita burl stand is UNIQUE, one of a kind. All of our Iseum Sanctuary ceremonial items are made with great care, positive intention, and blessed with loving nature.
These are actual pictures of the Bast House Temple, the lavender field, and smudges in the process of being created. Each smudge and all the crystals have been blessed in the Bast House by Ankh-sen-Aset (see picture). Bast (also known as Bastet) is the ancient Egyptian Goddess of protection and cats. Re, our Mau Cat, is meditating in the Bast House, with happy cat thoughts.
