Here is an AURYN pendant necklace, known as an Ouroboros Double Snakes pendant on a simple antique gold bronze steampunk style chain. This design comes from the 1980s film “The Neverending Story.”
The pendant measures approximately 2 inches.
Historically, serpents and snakes represent fertility or a creative life force. As snakes shed their skin, they are symbols of rebirth, transformation, immortality, and healing. The Ouroboros is a symbol of eternity and continual renewal of life.
This is a great piece for invoking your inner goddess, priest/priestess, for COS play/Neverending Story Tribute. It could be called Steampunk, Edwardian, Victorian, and Gothic.
