These Egyptian Kyphi Incense Paste Balls have a mixture of supercharged crushed gemstone crystals – quartz crystal, aventurine, and citrine – embedded within!
These are the result of a two month process. The ingredients are processed, naturally, and bound with an ancient recipe (and more). This recipe was created and made by Iseum artisan, Priestess and Reiki Mistress, Ankh-sen-Aset at our Sanctuary.
Kyphi is a type of paste incense that was used in Ancient Egypt for religious and healing purposes. There are Kyphi recipes inscribed on the walls of the ancient temples of Edfu and Philae; and there are drawings of Kyphi being used in temple ceremonies.
This Kyphi is based on the recipe at the Temple of Isis (Aset) in Philae. It includes more than a dozen ingredients including Frankincense, Myrrh, Cedar, Juniper, Lavender, Rosemary, Rose, Bay, Sandalwood and much more.
This incense provides a very relaxing and luxury scent. It is very helpful to calm energy and help with insomnia. (Our Sanctuary animals tend to fall deeply asleep within minutes of burning this incense.)
Kyphi has been used historically in religious ceremonies and temple offerings.
You will receive 5 organic incense balls (a variety of sizes) which can be burned over charcoal or lit by themselves. A smoke free way to use these is to place on an oil burner/aroma diffuser over a lit candle.
These come in a kit with a hand etched Lotus Mandala (approximately 2 inches in diameter) of reclaimed walnut wood, a quartz crystal point, and small silver ankh – see pictures.
Clear quartz crystal helps to elevate your consciousness and bring clarity into your life. It is clear light, cleansing and purifying energy fields.
Each incense ball is handmade and slightly different. The pictures here represent how they look, they vary in shape and size. Also, they are made in small batches and take quite awhile to complete/cure so we don’t have a huge inventory.
All of our incense balls, and incense smudge sticks are made carefully, with positive intention, and blessed with loving nature as well as being supercharged.
These are actual pictures of the Bast House and herbs being processed. The incense and all the crystals have been blessed in the Bast House temple by Ankh-sen-Aset.
Bast (also known as Bastet) is the ancient Egyptian Goddess of protection and cats. Re, our Mau Cat, is meditating in the Bast House, with happy cat thoughts.
