Our newly made Egyptian Incense Paste is a result of a two month process. Please note that the incense paste has a different appearance each time it is made.
The ingredients are processed, naturally, and bound with a special recipe. This recipe was created and made by an Iseum artisan and Reiki Mistress, Ankh-sen-Aset at our Sanctuary.
Kyphi is a type of paste incense that was used in Ancient Egypt for religious and healing purposes. There are Kyphi recipes inscribed on the walls of the ancient temples of Edfu and Philae; and there are drawings of Kyphi being used in temple ceremonies.
This Kyphi is based on the recipe at the Temple of Isis (Aset) in Philae. It includes more than a dozen ingredients including Frankincense, Myrrh, Cedar, Juniper, a bit of rose, and much more.
This incense provides a very relaxing and luxury scent. It is very helpful to calm energy and help with insomnia. (Our Sanctuary animals tend to fall deeply asleep within minutes of burning this incense.)
Kyphi has been used historically in religious ceremonies and temple offerings.
You will receive 6 incense paste balls. These may be lit or you can use the smoke free way by placing on an oil burner/aroma diffuser over a lit candle. These come in a kit with a quartz crystal and small silver ankh – see pictures. Also these Kyphi Incense balls have QUARTZ CRYSTALS and other powerful CRYSTALS EMBEDDED WITHIN!
Clear quartz helps to elevate your consciousness and bring clarity into your life. It is clear light, cleansing and purifying energy fields. Each incense ball is handmade and slightly different. The pictures here represent how they look. Also, they are made in small batches and take quite awhile to complete/cure so we don’t have a huge inventory.
All of our incense, smudge sticks, and paste balls are made carefully, with positive intention, and blessed with loving nature as well as being supercharged.
These are actual pictures of the Bast House and smudges in the process of being created. The incense and all the crystals have been blessed in the Bast House temple by Ankh-sen-Aset.
Bast (also known as Bastet) is the ancient Egyptian Goddess of protection and cats. Re, our Mau Cat, is meditating in the Bast House, with happy cat thoughts.
