These are newly made drop dangle copper clip on Scarab earrings. These have rhinestones across the top of the scarab
They have cartouche like designs, the feather of Ma’at, and the Amun-Re, God of the Sun and Air.
The Goddess Ma’at is the personification of truth, justice, and the cosmic order. She, and her feather, represents the concept of balance and order in Ancient Egypt.
Ram-headed sphinxes flank the entrance to the temple of Amun-Re at Thebes.
Egyptians saw the Scarab as a symbol of renewal and rebirth. Scarab amulets were used for their magical rejuvenating properties
These earrings are quite stunning, a statement, but not very heavy.
